In the years to come, many other cell phone producers began to develop camera phones. From 2002 on, most new cell phones releases were camera phones. Companies like Apple and Samsung in particular began to really focus on their camera specs, to develop the highest quality camera phones they could. These devices were HUGE and marketing these devices based on their cameras changed the game for cell phone users and producers. To put this camera spec advancement into perspective, In 2001, the Nokia 7650 featured a 640X480 pixel camera. In 2007, the LG-KU990 featured a 5.0 Megapixel camera. In 2019, Apple released one of its newest models, the iPhone 11, which included an f/1.8 6-element, 12-megapixel wide-angle lens (26mm focal length) and an f/2.4 5-element 12-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens (13mm focal length.)
